Senior Cost Manager

 

Description:

The ideal candidate will be client-facing and confident working on complex projects from inception through to completion. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services across a range of schemes, with a focus on both pre- and post-contract duties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full project lifecycle cost management, from feasibility through to final account
  • Preparation of cost plans, estimates and procurement advice
  • Tender document preparation and analysis
  • Contract administration and employer’s agent duties where required
  • Post-contract cost control and reporting
  • Stakeholder and client engagement, acting as a key point of contact
  • Working closely with the wider project team to ensure successful delivery

 

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
  • Proven experience delivering projects through all RIBA stages
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships
  • Previous experience within industrial or data centre sectors is desirable, but not essential
  • Comfortable working autonomously or as part of a wider team
