Senior Data Engineer

Description:

Plexus has teamed up with an decentralised finance company which focuses on integrating credit scoring mechanisms with lending services. It aims to revolutionise the traditional credit system by providing a more accessible and transparent ecosystem.

The platform offers users the ability to obtain loans based on their digital asset holding, assessed through a unique, blockchain based scoring system.

Responsibilities:

• Optimise and scale existing infrastructure.
• Construction and maintenance of ETL pipelines.
• Establish connections with major players in the space to gain insight into their data.
• Implement and maintain database security measure to protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including data scientists, analysts, software engineers and business stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Professional working experience in a blockchain based company and/or strong interest in the subject matter.
• At least 4 years experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++ or Scala.
• Nice to have Solidity or any smart contract language.
• Experience with database management systems and data warehousing (SQL, NoSQL).
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or any relevant STEM field.
