Harnham, a leading recruitment consultancy specializing in data, marketing, and digital roles, is representing a prestigious luxury retail brand in Oxfordshire seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Digital Manager. This pivotal role involves leading the brand’s digital strategy, performance, and optimisation across its website and mobile app to deliver a world-class customer experience.
As a Senior Digital Manager, you will act as the digital transformation lead, driving innovation and performance while ensuring the brand’s digital presence aligns with its luxury identity. The role requires a balance of strategic insight, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making to enhance digital engagement and sales performance.
Strategy & Planning
Lead the end-to-end digital user experience across web and app platforms, ensuring optimal performance and innovation.
Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy, collaborating with external agencies to maximise online visibility.
Set annual KPIs for web, app, and SEO performance, aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
Translate customer insights and analytics into actionable strategies for user journey enhancement.
Execution & Delivery
Oversee frontend design and development, managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate agile sprint cycles with IT teams and external developers for new feature rollouts.
Ensure post-launch support and continuous platform improvement for seamless user experiences.
Stakeholder & Agency Management
Serve as the central point of contact for internal regional teams, ensuring alignment and consistent communication.
Manage relationships with external agencies handling development, SEO, and content.
Collaborate with marketing, content, and creative teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.
Measurement & Optimisation
Monitor and evaluate digital platform performance using analytics tools and customer feedback.
Conduct UX and content audits to identify opportunities for conversion and engagement improvements.
Leverage data-driven insights to continuously optimise digital performance and ROI.
Must Have:
Proven experience managing digital channels for a luxury, retail, lifestyle, or hospitality brand.
Strong CMS experience (such as Contentful, Umbraco, or similar platforms).
Demonstrated ability to manage external agencies and cross-functional teams effectively.
Familiarity with analytics and UX tools such as Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, or Google Analytics.
Experience creating and managing online editorial content and digital copy.
Nice to Have:
Experience leading web, app, and SEO strategies in multi-agency environments.
Knowledge of ROI, reach, and consumer behaviour analytics for performance tracking.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and digital reporting tools.
Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies for project management.
Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
