Salary: Starts at £42,400 Negotiable (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

As Senior Digital and Social Media Specialist you will provide overall leadership, strategy and direction for the AWE external website and other social channels. This is a genuinely exciting time to join as we enhance our digital channels to communicate and engage with a range of different audiences. A dynamic and proactive approach will be needed, and you will have overall oversight for the way we use digital and social media to tell the AWE story.
A typical day for a Senior Digital and Social Media Specialist could look like this:
- Developing and leading a digital communications strategy aligned to the AWE business plan and Corporate Affairs campaigns
- Facilitating best practice on the AWE website and digital channels
- Acting as head of profession for web and digital, mentoring and supporting communications colleagues involved in devising and delivering appropriate content
- Continually monitoring and evaluating industry best practice, providing advice and counsel on how AWE can maximise potential opportunities
- Providing overall counsel on the website and digital channels, overseeing content planning and delivery with campaign leads and the Corporate Affairs Leadership team
- Heading the development and implementation of an effective evaluation and measurement system to continually assess the performance of the website and digital channels
- Owning and influencing relationships with appropriate partners involved in the management of the website and digital channels
