Senior Engineer

Description:

Revolution Technology is working with a tech-for-good company that provides an innovative online platform designed to empower and inspire people who are striving to create a positive social impact. As the organisation scales and expands its services, they are making a critical senior-level hire to join their engineering team as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in owning and advancing the DevOps infrastructure, championing automation and best practices, and driving forward improvements in security and compliance. You will also lead the company’s journey towards achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 certification, making a direct and lasting impact on the organisation’s growth and future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of DevOps infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

• Implement and champion automation, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices across the team.

• Drive improvements in security and compliance across systems and platforms.

• Lead the organisation’s move towards ISO 27001 accreditation and ongoing audit requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and resilient architecture.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP or AWS.

• Strong background in security, compliance, and governance.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Experience leading or supporting ISO 27001 audits.

• Proficiency with containerisation tools such as Docker.

• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration skills.
