We Do Group is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for an immediate start in Reading, offering hybrid working (2 days on-site, 3 days WFH). This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to shape financial performance, provide strategic insights, and support sustainable business growth across the UK and Ireland.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership, driving informed decision-making through meaningful analysis, process improvements, and insightful recommendations. You will also lead and develop a small team of management accountants, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Control:

• Lead month-end management accounting, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all reporting.

• Maintain ownership of key balance sheet accounts and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

• Continuously improve processes and controls to strengthen financial integrity.

Performance Management:

• Analyse business and client performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and trends.

• Deliver clear, insightful commentary and recommendations to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

• Support high-quality margin analysis and reporting improvements.

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles in collaboration with senior management.

• Translate business objectives into measurable financial outcomes and KPIs.

• Provide robust challenge and support to ensure plans are realistic, achievable, and aligned with company strategy.

Business Partnering:

• Partner with leaders across the organisation to drive informed decision-making.

• Deliver concise, data-driven insights and act as a key point of contact for financial guidance.

• Build strong relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a small finance team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of outputs.

• Promote professional development and create an environment of continuous improvement.
