Senior Finance Manager

Description:

The successful candidate will act as business partner to the UK&I operational account leads, building strong relationships to support their region of responsibility.

Role Summary:

• Coach and mentor, a team of 6 direct reports to achieve their personal development goals
• Develop good relationships with client finance & procurement contacts
• Support all UK & Ireland bids and savings initiatives
• Ensure high quality contractual and financial deliverables are produced in a timely manner
• Process and authorising contract and budget variations
• Responsibility for the production of budgets, forecasts and financial reporting and analysis
• Presentation of account commercial reviews to the senior management team
• Continuous review and implementation of process improvements to maximise efficiency
• Ensure SOX compliance at all times with no audit failures
• Ensure targets are achieved for key account measures
• Provide ad-hoc support to Finance Lead as required

Experience Required:

• Qualified or accountant with proven experience in financial reporting / analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence others and develop effective relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent IT Skills with exposure to accounting packages
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to lead and inspire others
• Experience of working to tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, reliable and flexible team player
• Ability to work on own initiative
