Harnham, in collaboration with a leading UK bank, is seeking a Senior Fraud Strategy Analyst to join its growing Fraud Strategy & Controls team. In this role, you will be part of the Control & Optimisation team, functioning as an internal consultancy to identify fraud control gaps and deliver actionable improvements across multiple product areas. You will play a crucial role in driving fraud strategy initiatives and collaborating closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to strengthen fraud prevention capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse fraud data using SQL and/or SAS, generating clear and actionable insights.

  • Lead change initiatives and implement fraud strategies across diverse product lines.

  • Identify control gaps and recommend optimisation strategies to strengthen fraud controls.

  • Partner with external stakeholders to improve fraud prevention mechanisms.

  • Provide consultancy-style support to internal teams, ensuring alignment with fraud strategy goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fraud strategy or fraud analysis, with a track record of delivering change or strategy implementation.

  • Strong technical skills in SQL or SAS (mandatory).

  • A commercial mindset with the ability to apply fraud data insights in a business context.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

  • Prior UK experience is essential, as this role requires deep knowledge of the UK banking fraud landscape.
