AIG belongs to the Arm Architecture and Technology Group and is responsible for documenting the IP that constitutes the Arm CPU Architecture. The Architecture encompasses a broad spectrum of product areas from the smallest microcontrollers to high-performance computing cores, and involves specifications for processing elements, compliant software development, debug and trace support, security, and other aspects of the Arm computer architecture.

This role will suit a highly technical, analytical, creative, and problem-solving individual. You will be an enthusiastic, pro-active with excellent attention to detail and be committed to producing writing of exceptional quality within a strong and dynamic environment. You should have curiosity and passion to seek out information, ask questions, learn, and explore the engineering concepts of the Arm architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Crafting and maintaining technical content in collaboration with Arm architects and other technical authors.
  • Acquiring source information from personal investigations, internal project documentation, and interviews with domain specialists.
  • Writing structured content that improves comprehension and ease of use without the loss of precision.
  • Incorporating review comments.
  • Ensuring that technical content follows corporate standards while following current processes and policies.


Required Skills and Experience:


You should have some previous technical writing experience for writing documentation with highly technical content, you are used to working with engineering teams. You possess a bachelor degree with at least grade 2:1 or have a higher degree. We are open-minded about degree subject areas as we have found strong candidates from a variety backgrounds.
