Senior Interior Designer

Rhythm Careers is partnering with a respected design studio known for its thoughtful and considered interior design work, specifically within hospitality. The Senior Interior Designer role requires a confident, organised professional ready to lead projects from concept through delivery. The candidate will manage a small team, communicate clearly with clients and consultants, and balance creativity with project responsibility in a detail-driven, collaborative studio environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and present interior design concepts

• Lead and guide a small design team through conceptual and technical project phases

• Attend site meetings, workshops, and reviews to ensure projects stay on schedule

• Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and contractors

• Build material palettes and develop FF&E (furniture, fixtures & equipment) specifications

• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 6 years of interior design experience focused on hospitality

• Leadership skills to manage a small team confidently

• Strong communication skills for client and consultant interaction

• Excellent concept and presentation abilities including hand sketching, digital visuals, and layout

• Proficient in AutoCAD for detailed drawing packs

• Confident use of SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
