In this role, you will join the VPN team, which is focused on developing one of the most trusted VPNs in the world. You’ll play a critical role in building a seamless, secure, and high-performance experience for users across Apple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and ship new features for Proton VPN across iPhone, iPad, and macOS platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement top-quality user experiences.

• Contribute to and maintain a robust testing stack, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end user flow tests.

• Write and maintain scalable, maintainable, and testable codebases, focusing on reliability and performance.

• Lead technical projects, provide mentorship to other engineers, and drive process improvements.

• Work closely with product and design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in iOS or macOS development with Swift.

• Proven experience designing maintainable, testable codebases and implementing scalable architectures.

• Strong knowledge of concurrent programming and mobile memory management.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring engineering teams.

• Excellent understanding of user interaction and usability principles.

• Experience driving change and leading complex technical projects.

• Rust programming experience is a major plus (not required).
