Description:
As Senior Lead Solution Architect you will lead end to end Solution Architectures to meet client's business needs along opportunities. You will be accountable for capitalizing on experience to develop solution blueprints for future customers with internal stakeholders, and partners, or suppliers.
Work with clients to understand business needs and existing IT ecosystems. Keep up to speed with market and state-of-the-art technology trends. Develop end to end target technical, delivery and operational architectures. Propose architecture transformation journey to customer. Define reusable solution blueprints enabling presales, delivery and operation.
Accountable for designing end to end solutions using SITA, third party, or client's components as appropriate. Define and coordinate architecture design of internal and external component providers. Oversees architecture outcomes ensuring that each phase meets expected business value.
Reporting to the Head of Integration Services Practice you will be a part of the central integration team supporting opportunities around the globe and liaising with central functions to build reusable blueprints.

What You Will Do
- Work closely with clients to understand their current IT ecosystem, their IT requirements and identify areas of improvement
- Advise clients with recommended industry best practice solutions and guide clients through alternative solutions
- Design end to end solution fulfilling customer business goals while maximizing SITA portfolio and capabilities
- Ensure all functional and non-functional requirements are met for an opportunity, any exceptions justified, agreed with all applicable stakeholders, and signed off
- Assist SITA stakeholders in the decision to make or buy capabilities/resources
- Coordinate, and manage solution life cycle with SITA, 3rd parties and client’s Subject Matter Experts
- Guide teams to deliver flexible, scalable and pragmatic end to end solutions
- Ensure designs in compliance with Industry standards and architectural plans
- As solution owner along the transformation journey, provide design leadership, guidance, and coordination to all solution providers
- Communicate effectively with clients, 3rd parties and internal stakeholders to ensure that solutions are meeting stakeholders needs and execution fulfilling client needs
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies, methods, and industry trends to ensure that solutions are current and meet the evolving needs of our clients
- Lead cross-functional teams to design solution blueprints, establish digital transformation toolkit and framework, define and deploy best practices.
Qualifications
Who You Are
- 10+ years of IT experience including 5 in the aviation and travel industry to design, deploy and manage complex and large solutions
- Consultative selling and proven track record of influencing customer executive/senior management and Information Systems staff, government, and industry analysts
- Ability to work across multiple technologies and multiple delivery methods
- Familiarity with software development methodologies and processes such as Agile, SCRUM, etc., and excellent understanding and proven use of Architectural Design Patterns
- Design thinking
- Experience with Business Process modeling and design (BPMN)
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Problem-solving and good analytical skills
- Teamwork and negotiation skills
- Good organizational skills
- Good risk management
- An understanding of information legislation, such as the Data Protection Act and GDPR
- Financial acumen
- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science Engineering Mathematics etc.) or sufficient work experience to demonstrate proficiency at this level.
