Senior Lecturer

Description:

UNSW Business School’s School of Information Systems & Technology Management (SISTM) is hiring two tenure-track positions at either Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Operations Management.

Lecturers (Level B) will conduct scholarly research, engage in professional activities nationally and internationally, and contribute to teaching, engagement, and leadership in line with School and Faculty expectations. Senior Lecturers (Level C) are expected to conduct internationally recognized research and provide significant educational leadership. The role reports to the Head of School and has no direct reports. Visa sponsorship and relocation support may be provided for successful candidates.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• PhD in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Operations Management, or closely related business field (by end of 2025)

• Experience teaching technical (cybersecurity, programming, database, networking) or business analytics courses

• Proven record of publications in leading IS or OM conferences and journals (e.g., UTD24, Financial Times 50, AIS Basket of 8)

• Strong commitment to keeping current with discipline knowledge and developments

• Experience with teaching, learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels

• Familiarity with educational technologies, online delivery methods, and industry engagement

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
