The school is also looking to develop new curriculum within the area of Esports. Therefore, you will be expected to support curriculum development, teaching, research and applied practice in the Esports domain. Prior experience of working in this field and the design of curriculum would be a distinct advantage.
You will contribute to the leadership and delivery of programmes/modules within the subject area, and to take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of teaching in relevant undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, tutorials and seminars, the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate student dissertations and applied placements / practice and provide personal tutoring.
You will engage in research and scholarly activity in their area of expertise to extend the school’s high quality research outputs and impact within the Sport and Exercise Psychology discipline. You will work collaboratively with academics across the world-leading Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences, including colleagues in the Applied Sport Psychology Research group, the coaching and pedagogy research group and the research exchanges.
To contribute fully to the school’s BPS accredited and HCPC approved programme provision, the appointee will be expected to hold HCPC registration / Chartership / accreditation, or be currently undertaking, or in possession of the entry requirements to undertake, a HCPC Approved Education provider programme to be eligible for Sport and Exercise Psychologist registration.
