Senior Legal Counsel

• This is a high-impact contract opportunity with a top-tier global FMCG company undergoing a significant corporate reorganisation and carve-out. The company seeks two skilled Senior Legal Counsels to support its ongoing restructuring efforts. These are not M&A roles — the M&A transactions are handled by another team. Instead, this position focuses on executing the legal separation processes following the deals. This includes managing complex legal work streams across various jurisdictions such as France, the Netherlands, and Spain.

The primary responsibilities include leading jurisdiction-specific execution work for business and asset transfers, demergers, statutory mergers, and share reorganisations. You will manage all documentation, oversee legal processes within assigned jurisdictions, and work collaboratively with Company Secretarial, Tax, and Finance departments. External legal counsel support will be available, but you’ll be expected to independently manage your jurisdictions from start to go-live.

This role requires a confident legal professional who can draft, manage, and oversee key documentation. Candidates should be comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and dealing with cross-functional stakeholders across global regions. The company supports a flexible hybrid working model and prefers candidates who can join immediately or within four weeks.
