Description:

Kemira, a global leader in sustainable chemistry focused on water-intensive industries, is seeking a Senior Manager for People & Culture to cover the EMEA South & West sub-region, including UK, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, and South Africa. Based in Bradford, UK, this leadership role involves shaping company culture, driving employee engagement, and fostering an inclusive and positive workplace environment aligned with Kemira’s core values.

The Senior Manager will work closely with leadership teams to design and implement strategies that promote a growth mindset, talent development, diversity, and continuous organizational improvement. This role is pivotal in executing global and regional strategic people initiatives tailored for local market needs and driving operational excellence in HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a thriving workplace culture by designing and implementing impactful, inclusive initiatives

  • Lead strategic people agendas such as diversity, cultural transformation, talent development, and improved ways of working

  • Enhance talent attraction, engagement, and retention by strengthening talent pipelines and championing employee satisfaction programs

  • Localize and execute global and regional strategic People & Culture programs aligned with organizational priorities

  • Act as a strategic enabler for growth by driving new projects aligned with regional and organizational goals

  • Deliver operational excellence ensuring compliant and efficient people & culture services and data management

  • Manage employee relations with professionalism, empathy, and focus on building organizational trust

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior People & Culture role with deep knowledge of best HR practices

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills in English

  • Passionate about fostering positive, inclusive workplace culture

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Growth mindset with commitment to continuous learning and development

  • Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
