Senior Mechanical Engineer

Description:

The Mechanical Senior Engineer will be required to:

• Develop the design for the retrieval, processing, storage and transport of alpha emitting materials through detail design.
• Provide mechanical engineering input including the application of best practices and LFE; consideration of ALARP; nuclear accountancy; permanent/ temporary containment/ventilation systems; and contamination control approaches.
• Efficient liaison with stake-holders and other engineering disciplines i.e. Security, System Engineering and Waste Advisers
• Under-take plant / site visits and communicate with site personnel.
• Deliver work activities against agreed work plans.
