🚨 We're hiring a Senior Planner at JR Planning 🚨

We're growing and looking for an experienced planner to join our small team.

📍 We are a small, thriving consultancy doing an interesting mix of work, mostly across Yorkshire and Derbyshire, mainly on small to medium-sized projects. That means you would be properly involved from start to finish, rather than picking up a small part of something bigger. Our success has been due to our commitment to building strong professional relationships and providing the very best advice and service to our clients. We are looking for a planner who shares this commitment, to be a key part of our team.

💼 The role

You'll:
✅ Manage your own planning projects
✅ Work directly with clients and local planning authorities
✅ Prepare planning applications, appeals and provide planning advice
✅ Play an active role in shaping how we work as a business

👤 About you

You'll:
✔️ Have at least 5 years' UK planning experience in either the public or private sector
✔️ Be a Chartered Member of the RTPI
✔️ Be confident dealing with clients and other professionals
✔️ Be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your projects
✔️ Be able to manage a varied workload across multiple projects
✔️ Be a practical problem-solver with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for clients
✔️ Take pride in providing an excellent level of client service
