Description:
Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Band 8a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join the Coastal Sussex CAMHS team based in Worthing & Chichester. This post provides an opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment while developing advanced skills in assessment, intervention, and clinical supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments, interventions, and formulations using CBT, systemic, attachment-based, and other psychological models
Apply skills to a wide range of complex co-morbid presentations
Develop expertise in supervision, CBT, and other therapeutic modalities
Provide clinical leadership, including supervision, clinical governance, and quality improvement
Deliver and evaluate CBT groups, supervise CBT therapists and low-intensity practitioners
Support embedding of trauma-informed care within the team
Participate in innovative digital interventions for CAMHS services
Contribute to continuous improvement and service transformation initiatives aligned with the Trust’s strategy
Professional Development:
