Senior Practitioner Psychologist

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Band 8a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join the Coastal Sussex CAMHS team based in Worthing & Chichester. This post provides an opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment while developing advanced skills in assessment, intervention, and clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments, interventions, and formulations using CBT, systemic, attachment-based, and other psychological models

• Apply skills to a wide range of complex co-morbid presentations

• Develop expertise in supervision, CBT, and other therapeutic modalities

• Provide clinical leadership, including supervision, clinical governance, and quality improvement

• Deliver and evaluate CBT groups, supervise CBT therapists and low-intensity practitioners

• Support embedding of trauma-informed care within the team

• Participate in innovative digital interventions for CAMHS services

• Contribute to continuous improvement and service transformation initiatives aligned with the Trust’s strategy
