Senior / Principal Structural Engineer

Our client specialises in the self-build housing sector, working with leading manufacturers in modern methods of construction (ICF and SIPS). They are a growing business in growing market seeking a senior or principal level structural engineer looking for the next step in their career where they can help build a team.

The Role
 

• Hybrid working an option - min 3 days
• Comfortable with presenting and attending seminars and shows
• Will have the opportunity to establish and grow the office and team
• Ability to be client facing, comfortable and confident talking to people at all levels
   

About You
 

• At least 5 years' post graduate experience, ideally in modern methods of construction (although not essential as training is on offer)
• Experienced with Tedds
• Happy working completely independently initially with the support of the our client's main office
• Working weekends may sometimes be required to cover seminars and shows but you will be paid overtime for this
• Good communication skills as you will be working closely with architects and Clients
• Timber frame experience required, ICF and SIPS experience a big advantage
