Senior Product Director

Description:

A globally recognized payments company is seeking a (Senior) Product Director to lead one of their core payments tribes, a pivotal role within their fast-evolving organization. Backed by strategic acquisitions across the cross-border payments ecosystem, this organization provides robust API-first, B2B SaaS solutions catering to payment institutions, banks, FinTech firms, and FX brokers.

This role reports directly to the General Manager of the business unit and involves managing multiple tribes and squads, while also overseeing a team of Product Managers. As a senior figure, you’ll take charge of nurturing a high-performing product culture, ensuring exceptional product development standards, and leading recruitment for top-tier product talent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and lead multiple product tribes and squads across a global payments portfolio.

• Provide line management and mentorship to product managers within the organization.

• Drive innovation and structure to simplify complexity from recent acquisitions and enhance customer experience.

• Recruit and onboard high-performing product management talent.

• Influence strategy and product operations in alignment with a product-first philosophy.

• Foster a culture of exceptional product craft, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven product leadership experience, ideally at the director level or higher.

• Strong grounding in product-first organizations with a record of cultivating high-performing teams.

• Deep domain expertise in payments, including cross-border transactions and B2B FinTech services.

• Capable of operating in a complex, multi-entity environment, with a strategic and execution-driven mindset.

• Experienced in managing API-based SaaS products and working closely with engineering and business stakeholders.
