About the Role:

The Senior Python Developer will be deeply involved in the end-to-end development cycle — from understanding business needs to building scalable, production-ready systems. You will lead technical discussions about architecture and design, produce clean and well-tested code, and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and architecture discussions for new and existing systems.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code.

• Work with large datasets and SQL databases efficiently.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and fellow engineers.

• Mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

• Ensure software quality and performance meet high standards.

• Utilize cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS, for deployment and scaling.

• Drive improvements in software engineering practices and systems.

Candidate Requirements:

• 4+ years professional experience with Python development.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering including testing, version control (e.g., Git), and clean code principles.

• Proven experience working with large datasets and SQL databases.

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

• Passionate about software quality, best practices, and continuous learning.

• Experience in finance, enterprise, or regulated industries is a plus but not mandatory.
