Our client have been supporting OEM's, SME's and start ups for the past 50+ years across the globe delivering ground-breaking new technologies to these industries and more.
Given the demand for their services of growth across Europe, and the United States, they are seeking an Senior Radiofrequency Engineer to join their team in Cambridge.

So what will you be doing on a day to day basis?
- Take part in crafting system frameworks and exploring technical viability through teamwork with engineers from diverse fields.
- Direct the creation of compact antennas for medical devices worn or implanted.
- Conduct electromagnetic simulations using CAD tools like CST, HFSS, or SEMCADX to comprehend RF propagation, employing human body models.
- Compute link budgets for close-range technologies such as BLE, BT classic, or UHF.
- Forge and execute appropriate RF test strategies to gauge antenna attributes within a shielded chamber (e.g. TRP, TIS, EIS), including defining suitable body phantoms
What we are looking for:
- Preferably, a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven expertise in crafting compact antenna solutions.
- Demonstrated skill in conducting radio and antenna assessments within an anechoic chamber.
- Proficiency in CAD modelling for electromagnetic simulations.
- Adeptness in circuit design and PCB layout to implement EMI/EMC mitigation strategies.
- Experience in devising wireless power transfer systems.
