SENIOR REPAIRS & CONTRACTS MANAGER

Lincoln Cornhill is proud to be working with a reputable Housing provider in Birmingham to source a permanent Senior Repairs & Contracts Manager. 

The range of function which are covered include:

  • To lead and manage the organisation’s repairs and maintenance service, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective and compliant delivery that prioritises resident safety, satisfaction and organisational performance
  • Drive operational excellence, embed a performance-led culture, and maintain robust compliance with regulatory standards
  • Develop and implement the Repairs and Maintenance strategy in line with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure alignment with the Group’s priorities for delivery of critical services (repair and maintenance, damp and mould treatment, emergency access)
  • Oversee responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance, and cyclical works, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Manage out-of-hours service provision and emergency response protocols
  • Provide leadership and performance management for the in-house team
  • Report regularly to the Executive Team on repair performance, customer satisfaction and improvement plans

 

Experience and skills required:

  • Proven leadership in repairs and maintenance within social housing or property services
  • Strong knowledge of housing and regulatory standards
  • Experience in budgeting commercial procurement contract management and executive reporting
  • Familiarity with asset management systems, compliance databases and data driven decision-making
