Airbus Protect is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Manager to join its UK Sales team. This pivotal role focuses on strengthening Airbus Protect’s presence in the UK cybersecurity market by driving sales growth, expanding the client base, and providing strategic leadership.

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for defining and implementing the go-to-market strategy for the UK in alignment with Airbus Protect’s overall business objectives. The role requires building strong, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers (C-level, CIOs, CISOs) across industries such as aeronautical, critical national infrastructure (CNI), and defence, positioning Airbus Protect as a trusted cybersecurity advisor.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing the UK sales strategy, aligned with Airbus Protect’s global priorities.

  • Identifying, prospecting, and converting new business opportunities, leveraging both new and existing networks.

  • Driving the complete sales cycle, from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure, using a consultative and solutions-oriented approach.

  • Providing mentorship and coaching to junior sales team members, fostering a culture of high performance.

  • Conducting ongoing competitive and technological market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and share insights with internal strategy teams.

  • Collaborating with marketing, pre-sales, and business units to ensure strategic alignment and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintaining accurate CRM (e.g., Salesforce) records and delivering reliable sales pipeline forecasts.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in cybersecurity sales, exceptional networking abilities, and a track record of delivering results in high-value, complex sales cycles. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to diverse client needs. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Candidates must also demonstrate integrity and awareness of compliance risks, upholding Airbus’s commitment to ethical business practices.
