With design studios in cosmopolitan cities such as Tokyo, London, Singapore, Shanghai, Düsseldorf, and New York, we are expanding our team in London to further elevate our creative output.

We are looking for a Senior Social Media / Communications Manager to take charge of our social media strategy and internal and external communications. Reporting directly to the Chief Design and Brand Identity Officer, you will work within a dynamic, creative environment, collaborating with our global design and brand identity teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic individual to propel LIXIL Global Design’s social media presence and communications strategy across the globe.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy: Own and lead our social media strategy across platforms, focusing primarily on Instagram, from ideation through to execution.
  • Content Creation & Curation: Develop high-quality, engaging content (text, images, infographics, videos, reels, podcasts) that resonates with our audience.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute engaging social media campaigns, from concept to post-campaign analysis, including competitions and promotions.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with LIXIL Global Design’s brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Relationship Building: Collaborate closely with the global design and brand identity teams and cross-functional teams to develop content and campaigns.
  • Community Management: Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and fostering a vibrant community on Instagram and other platforms.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze social media metrics, track performance, and prepare reports to ensure key objectives are met.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on market developments, social media trends, and algorithm changes.
  • Influencer Collaboration: Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers to amplify brand reach and engagement.
  • Content Calendar Management: Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting, while supporting global events and exhibitions such as Milan Salone, WAF, and ISH.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as a Social Media and Communications Manager or in a similar role.
  • Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of social media platforms (primarily Instagram), trends, and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
  • Budget Management: Ability to manage social media and campaign budgets effectively.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships within and across teams.
  • Creativity: A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, capable of generating and executing new ideas.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans for social media and communications.
