Senior Social Strategist

In your role you will be leading a team of social creators, social strategists, producers and creative specialists to deliver world class social campaigns and always on content for a flagship group of clients. You will be the go-to content person for the brands that you work with so you will be plugged into the forefront of all things social.

You love to work at pace and with agility. You are a team player who loves to collaborate across your multi-discipline team. The group of clients will view you as their go-to partner across all things social and you will develop a trusting and long-term relationship with them leading them through the evolving social landscape to set them up for success in the short and long term.

Responsibilities
 

  • As a social native you will help to guide your clients to practical and effective strategies across all of their platforms, in a way that supports their overall marketing objectives.
  • You will help the client set a clear vision for social and plan of action to achieve this across platforms.
  • You will work with cross-agency partners to develop and shape campaigns and content across social so that brands are maximising their engagement across all channels for campaigns and not just repurposing above the line assets.
  • You will understand the role that social plays within the wider Hogarth business and work with key stakeholders within Hogarth to support the development of the discipline through the work that you deliver for your suite of clients.
  • You will work with data analysts to deliver actionable data-led insight ideas that tap into audiences, communities and culture.
  • Write and lead creative briefings. Guiding the team to best possible creative output across social channels.
  • You will oversee the calendar across all clients and be responsible for the quality and performance of all output across the social platforms for the brands
  • Embedding a KPI and measurement framework that helps the clients to benchmark and monitor their performance.
  • You will work with your team to embed a reporting process for clients, so that they can assess and share successes and learnings. As part of the process, you will implement a test and learn strategy across the social platforms
  • Support and facilitate creative brainstorms with relevant and timely stimulus/research
  • Working alongside senior stakeholders to contribute to pitches for new and existing clients
  • Helping the larger team to be on the pulse of what is happening in culture/social
  • Work closely with your team day-to-day, to help guide them to best output. The Producer will lead delivery process of all projects and output, with you directing and being the point of approval
  • You will lead the team culture, quality of engagement and general development of the social media business for the accounts that you handle.
     

Requirements:
 

  • Knowledge of key research resources and social listening tools, such as GWI, Netbase/Quid, Brandwatch and Sprinkler
  • Enjoys a variety of different projects
  • Ability to create a compelling narrative to sell your strategy
  • Experience working in a client-facing role, preferably on large, global brands
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to lead briefs alone
  • Passionate and curious individual
  • Strong presenter and able to articulate point of views, tone of voices, and creative ideas persuasively
  • A natural leader who can motivate and focus their team
  • Shows a natural knack for client servicing and building trusting and collaborative relationships with clients and outside partners
