Warman O’Brien is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding US-based Contract Research Organization (CRO) that specializes in biotech partnerships and clinical trial support. With around 700 global employees, the company is actively growing its Biometrics function and making a strategic move into the UK market, where this role will be their second Statistical Programming hire.
This is a rare opportunity to join a thriving CRO during its early UK expansion phase, allowing you to make a tangible impact in shaping local operations, leading significant clinical programming projects, and engaging directly with biotech clients and regulatory bodies.
Lead statistical programming activities on complex clinical trial projects
Oversee project delivery and provide technical leadership in client communications and bid defences
Develop and validate SDTM and ADaM datasets per CDISC standards and internal SOPs
Play an active role in regulatory submission preparation, interacting with health authorities when necessary
Mentor junior programmers and foster a collaborative work environment
Build custom macros, tools, and utilities to enhance programming workflows
Ensure data integrity and scientific compliance throughout all phases of clinical programming
Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Mathematics
6+ years of experience in clinical trial statistical programming
Proficient with SDTM/ADaM datasets, TLFs, and submission deliverables
Experience working independently in global, cross-functional teams
Familiarity with regulatory expectations and programming best practices in the biotech sector
