St Jude's Care Ltd is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Live-In Support Worker to join its dedicated, values-driven team in Yeovil, Somerset. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate support professional to step into a senior role that combines direct care with leadership and compliance responsibilities.

As a Senior Live-In Support Worker, you will be the key point of contact in the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are provided for adults with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other neurodiverse conditions. This role offers the chance to make a real difference by fostering independence, dignity, and well-being among tenants.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional and practical support to tenants in a safe, nurturing, and person-centred environment.

  • Take ownership of care plans, risk assessments, and individual goal setting, ensuring documents are up-to-date and aligned with best practices.

  • Conduct audits, spot checks, and quality monitoring to uphold compliance and care standards.

  • Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

  • Lead by example, supporting and guiding other staff to maintain a positive and professional environment.


Required Skills & Attributes

  • Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to guide and support others.

  • Experience in supporting adults with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or other neurodiverse needs.

  • Confident working independently in a live-in care environment.

  • Proficient in problem-solving, de-escalation, and effective communication.

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and possess strong English communication skills.

  • A valid driving license is preferred.
