Senior Systems Engineer

Description:

A leading wireless company based in Bristol is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise in wireless communication systems, specifically in 4G/5G technologies and radio or PHY layer development and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate PHY layer components, including RX and TX PHY and RF chains.

• Work with multi-disciplinary teams spanning hardware, software, and RF domains.

• Utilize RF lab test equipment for system validation and testing.

• Collaborate with international partner locations, requiring travel abroad and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic qualifications in engineering or related fields.

• Deep understanding of 4G/5G wireless communication technologies.

• Hands-on experience with radio and PHY layer development/integration.

• Knowledge of RF systems and test equipment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
