A successful and ambitious accountancy practice in Stoke-on-Trent seeks a technically strong, CTA-qualified Senior Tax Manager to lead its growing personal tax team. This role provides a unique opportunity to progress towards Director or Partner level, with potential future equity and growth shares.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and review a varied portfolio of personal tax compliance clients.

• Provide technical advisory input on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and trust planning projects.

• Lead and develop the tax team, overseeing day-to-day workflow and mentoring junior staff.

• Collaborate with the wider leadership team to shape the future strategy of the tax department.

• Ensure compliance with evolving tax legislation while maintaining high technical standards.

• Serve as a key contact for high-value, long-standing clients.

• Participate actively in strategic growth, business development, and succession planning initiatives.

Candidate Requirements:

• CTA-qualified tax professional with strong personal tax experience.

• Proven leadership and team management skills in an accountancy practice environment.
