Harrington Starr have partnered with one of Asia’s leading, independent brokerage and investment groups to find a Middle and Back Office Senior Support Engineer to join them in their new and expanding London office. This is an exciting opportunity to form part of global team which offers great upskilling opportunities and progression. As part of the team, you will work very closely with business users, various other teams for day to day delivery and operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • End to end delivery of software changes, from requirement inception to production rollout.
  • Develop, Test and Deliver new features, tactical enhancements, bug-fixes which will provide value and enable business growth
  • Align and Work closely with the MOBO IT teams in other locations to deliver on the strategic roadmap
  • Suggest new ideas for Automation and be able to implement automation ideas.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong in SQL, Linux, Scripting using Bash
  • 4-8 years of experience working in a support role within the finance sector
  • Strong communication skill, able to communicate with business stakeholders as well as technical developers
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and equities trading workflow.
