Pendo.io, a leading product experience platform, is seeking a Senior Technical Writer / Content Designer to contribute to its mission of enhancing user experiences with software. This full-time, fully remote position is based in the United Kingdom and plays a vital role in creating precise, engaging, and accessible documentation and UI content for a global product audience.

About the Role:

As part of the Product Content Team within the Design, Experience, and Research (DXR) department, the selected candidate will work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams. You will be the go-to resource for multiple product teams spread across US East Coast, UK, and Israel time zones, crafting Help Center content, in-product UI copy, and maintaining information architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain accurate and well-structured documentation in Pendo’s Help Center

• Write and revise in-product UI copy that aligns with release cycles and functionality

• Identify and implement improvements based on user feedback and internal reviews

• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure factual and strategic alignment

• Take ownership of content information architecture, pruning or expanding content as needed

• Apply industry best practices in technical writing and content design to continually elevate team output

• Engage with and utilize AI tools to streamline workflows and content creation

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience independently managing product documentation or UI copy

• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, user-friendly content

• Strong project management and communication skills

• Adaptable to a fast-paced, iterative environment

• Portfolio showcasing technical writing and/or UI content samples

• Comfortable using and integrating AI tools in daily workflows

• Hands-on curiosity and a “learning by doing” mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Zendesk, Confluence, Miro, Figma

• Experience writing for APIs, mobile/web app installations, or integrations

• Prior experience with Pendo products

• Coding knowledge or relevant certifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in English, Communications, Journalism, Computer Science, or related fields

Compensation & Benefits:

• Expected Annual Salary (UK – Sheffield region): £49,000 – £54,000

• Monthly Equivalent: £4083 – £4500
