Senior Territory Account Executive

 

Description:

Cloudflare, a global leader in Internet performance and security, is seeking a Senior Territory Account Executive to drive strategic sales across Sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on South Africa, from its London or Dubai office. This role is part of a dynamic global sales organization that helps customers adopt Cloudflare's powerful solutions for securing and accelerating Internet applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a robust pipeline, developing new customer acquisition strategies, and executing against comprehensive account/territory plans. Candidates must bring a strong combination of technical expertise and proven sales success in Cloud Security, Network Security, or related fields such as SASE, ZT, FAAS, CASB, WAF, SWG, RBI, and DDOS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth across assigned accounts and territory by executing a defined sales strategy.

  • Manage full sales cycles, including negotiations and closing deals within a matrix organization.

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key accounts and stakeholders, both technical and business.

  • Partner with internal teams, including channel and alliances, to expand sales opportunities.

  • Maintain a strong outbound strategy and consistently develop new leads and opportunities.

  • Deliver accurate forecasting and maintain account information in Salesforce CRM.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling cloud/network security solutions in the South African market.

  • 8+ years overall in technology sales with direct customer-facing experience.

  • Deep understanding of the South African tech landscape and enterprise buyer behavior.

  • Familiarity with complex technologies such as SASE, ZT, CASB, WAF, DDOS protection, and related security architectures.

  • Background in computer science or engineering preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and strong pipeline management discipline.
