Senior Transactional Lawyer

Description:

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior Transactional Lawyer to join a collaborative legal team specializing in alternative credit investments, asset-based investments, securitizations, special situations, and major corporate debt restructurings across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead transactions, including distressed investments and restructurings, from inception to exit.
• Collaborate with investment and asset management teams to ensure seamless execution of complex financial deals.
• Work closely with the portfolio management team to review restructurings and proactively resolve legal and financial challenges.
• Optimize investment portfolios while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Provide strategic legal counsel on a range of high-value financial transactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ 5+ years of post-qualification experience at a top-tier international law firm, global bank, or asset manager.
✔ Proven expertise in complex financial transactions, particularly in distressed investments, restructurings, and alternative credit investments.
✔ Strong ability to navigate and advise on regulatory compliance.
✔ Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with senior stakeholders.
✔ Commercial mindset with the ability to drive deal strategy and execution.
