Kureos, a leading Legal AI scale-up, is transforming access to legal services by combining cutting-edge artificial intelligence with expert legal knowledge. Their mission is to make legal help universally accessible, starting in the UK and US, with plans for further global expansion.

After securing one of Europe’s largest Series A funding rounds in 2024, Kureos is scaling rapidly and is now hiring Senior Full-Stack Engineers with strong TypeScript and Node experience. As a key contributor, you’ll build sleek, high-performance legal tools that are both user-friendly and scalable. You’ll collaborate in a cross-functional team, working alongside product leaders and designers, and contribute to both frontend and backend architecture with flexibility based on your core strengths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and scale modern, high-performance, user-focused applications using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Tailwind.

• Drive UI/UX consistency and quality across multiple platforms.

• Solve complex problems and make architectural and strategic decisions.

• Contribute to front-end best practices and improve code standards across the board.

• Work closely in a product-driven environment, shipping features quickly and efficiently.

• Mentor junior developers and support a healthy engineering culture.

• Take full ownership of features, from ideation through to delivery and refinement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.

• Passion for clean, performant design and user experience.

• Track record of delivering end-to-end features in a scale-up or fast-paced startup.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Strong communication skills and eagerness to collaborate across disciplines.

• Experience or familiarity with E2E development and system scalability.

• Bonus: Computer Science or STEM degree (Masters or PhD preferred).

Interview Process (4 Stages):

1. Introductory meeting with Senior Talent Partner – motivations & experience

2. Situational interview with VP Engineering or COO

3. Live technical challenge – problem-solving and Q&A

4. Final meeting with C-suite leadership
