Senior UI Designer

Description:

A leading B2B SaaS firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI Designer to create intuitive, visually engaging, and high-impact user experiences across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. This role involves solving complex design challenges, elevating the visual language of a mature product ecosystem, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and UX designers in an agile, customer-centric environment.

The ideal candidate will define and enhance the visual design language, deliver pixel-perfect assets, develop wireframes, mockups, high-fidelity prototypes (with motion and transitions), and contribute to the evolution of the Design System while ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG, WAI-ARIA). They will also mentor junior designers, facilitate design workshops, and advocate for exceptional visual standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and evolve the visual design language across multiple platforms.

• Create pixel-perfect UI assets, iconography, and illustrations.

• Translate user needs and business goals into clean, functional interfaces.

• Contribute to and develop the Design System ensuring consistency and accessibility.

• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes with motion and transitions.

• Facilitate design workshops and collaborate with teams throughout the build process.

• Mentor junior designers and promote high visual standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in UI/Visual Design for digital products.

• Strong portfolio showcasing clean, high-quality UI work from shipped products.

• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and similar tools.

• Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and responsive design.

• Experience working with and contributing to design systems.

• Solid knowledge of accessibility and human-centred design principles.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts to diverse stakeholders.

• Experience in an agile, enterprise environment is advantageous.

• Motion design skills are a plus.

Additional Information:

• This is a hybrid position: 2 days/week in London office (may increase to 3 days).
