WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

An exciting new vacancy now exists in the Engineering team for a Service Delivery Engineer within the fast paced and rewarding Toughbook and CDS division supplying Panasonic computers and various peripherals to customers in Europe.

The Service Delivery engineer will contribute to the development and support of production and service engineering team’s with a focus on improving customer experience whilst adhering to compliance and company processes.

The scope of responsibilities will be to deliver excellence through customer service by listening to customer requirements and issues and implementing bespoke processes through professional service offerings and service level agreements. The role will also contribute to new “Gemba” opportunities driven from the market and information returned to base for potential analysis of new business opportunities.

Working closely with all departments (internally and externally), the successful candidate will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills whilst implementing sustainable business improvements and using effective engineering skills whilst continually multi-tasking to deliver complex solutions derived from customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple operating systems and their deployment method.
  • Design, development & build support processes and (or) products.
  • Project support working with various stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Production and service support.
  • End to End continuous improvement of all areas of configuration and service,
  • Training of Operatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Writing/editing and controlling instructions for CDS, assembly, test, 0/S deployment and shipping.
  • Customer visits and meetings.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • PC Hardware knowledge is required.
  • Proven skills in managing projects.
  • Appropriate academic and (or) vocational qualification.
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills.
  • Experience of Windows and android operating systems is necessary.
  • The ability to manage concurrent projects is essential.
  • Enthusiastic approach to all tasks undertaken.
  • Customer first attitude.
