Description:
Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer for its Mobile & Crawler Cranes department. The role involves carrying out servicing, inspections, and repairs of foundation machinery and equipment at customer sites, ensuring high-quality service delivery that enhances customer confidence and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform servicing, inspections, and repairs of foundation machinery at customer premises, on-site, or in the depot.
- Diagnose fault issues and take necessary corrective actions.
- Return all warranty and other parts in a clean and timely manner, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Read, understand, and maintain service information effectively.
- Ensure all work is conducted as per manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
- Escalate any issues regarding damaged or broken equipment.
- Develop strong working relationships with the support team at the depot and assist colleagues as needed.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following workplace safety regulations.
- Complete all administration and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure customer needs are understood and met with flexibility.
- Maintain high work quality standards, ensuring the repair site is left in a clean and satisfactory condition.
- Identify and contribute to process improvements to enhance work efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent from a recognized apprenticeship in a related industry.
- Experience working in heavy plant or a relevant industry.
- Slinger & CSCS cards.
- Full clean driving license.
