Description:
Cleveland Clinic London, a premier private healthcare facility, is hiring two Multi-skilled Shift Engineers to provide essential engineering maintenance and support within their state-of-the-art hospital environment. This role involves installation, maintenance, and reactive work related to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and HVAC systems, ensuring all building plant and equipment operate efficiently to support patient care.

Provide technical support and undertake engineering tasks across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hospital.
Execute installation, maintenance, reactive, corrective, and project-based engineering work adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
Undertake Competent & Authorised Person duties where relevant.
Liaise with specialist subcontractors, obtain and manage quotes, and oversee contractor activities on-site.
Manage procurement of materials by sourcing suppliers and obtaining approval for costs.
Maintain timely, accurate records of all tasks using mobile working devices and CAFM systems.
Report any critical or business-impacting issues promptly to shift leads and Estates management.
Act as a contractor escort, ensuring site safety and compliance.
Conduct fault identification, rectification, and escalate issues as needed.
Ensure all maintenance complies with hospital safety and quality standards.
Completion of a full Apprenticeship program.
Minimum City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
Strong working knowledge and experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Relevant trade card such as CSCS.
Desirable: HTM (Health Technical Memorandum) relevant Competent Person (CP) or Authorised Person (AP) qualifications.
Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 qualification.
Proven experience with CAFM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Previous healthcare or HTM environment experience advantageous.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
44 hours per week.
Rotating shift pattern including days and nights.
Shift pattern: 4 days on (7am–7pm), 4 days off, 4 nights on (7pm–7am), 4 days off.
