Description:

Bayer Consumer Health is seeking a Shopper Marketing Manager to develop and execute impactful shopper marketing campaigns that resonate with both consumers and retailers. This role offers the opportunity to lead shopper marketing initiatives across multiple brands, channels, and retail environments while working in a fast-paced, innovative culture driven by Bayer’s vision of “Health for all, Hunger for none.”

As a key member of the team, you will drive Omni-channel Excellence, oversee an annual budget of up to £2 million, and collaborate closely with internal teams and external agencies to create campaigns that deliver measurable ROI and enhance brand presence in the UK retail trade.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute shopper marketing campaigns aligned with retailer and shopper insights.

  • Champion Bayer Consumer Health brands externally, building strong retailer relationships.

  • Lead shopper activation programs, ensuring Omni-channel Excellence across various retail formats.

  • Collaborate with third-party agencies to deliver high-impact permanent and temporary displays, digital assets, and in-store solutions.

  • Evaluate and optimize marketing campaigns based on ROI and KPI targets.

  • Participate in Local Category Teams to drive the shopper marketing agenda.

  • Manage budget planning and allocation for maximum return on investment.

  • Support development of stretch plans to enhance performance and increase market presence.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to influence and lead small teams.

  • Experience in Sales, Marketing, or Category Management (FMCG or OTC sectors preferred).

  • Strong understanding of UK retail trade dynamics.

  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to utilize market data for storytelling.

  • Degree-level education or equivalent practical experience.
