Site Finance Partner

We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner at GSK’s flagship manufacturing site at Ware (Hertfordshire). This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your Finance and Leadership skills and develop your expertise within a world leading pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities:

As the Finance Business Partner you will be aligned to support the business (providing decision support, financial management, and governance), with particular emphasis on supporting the OSD (Oral & Solid Dose), Quality and Logistics workstreams. The OSD workstream contributes approximately £2 billion per year of product to GSK global business through HIV and Oncology medicines, the Quality function governs how we test and guarantee the safety of our product to patients and Logistics function plans and moves product around the site and warehouse. You will actively contribute to the delivery of overall financial and business performance through the provision of insight (and challenge) to drive appropriate actions.

This role would suit a self-motivated individual who has experience of working in a complex cross-functional environment (ideally with some understanding of manufacturing). Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with strong business partnering experience. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong people skills and a proven ability to influence people to achieve objectives and drive performance. You will have a continuous improvement mindset and strong demonstrable organisational skills.

Basic Qualifications:
 

• Qualified accountant with one of the globally recognized accounting bodies (please note: we are happy to consider Part Qualified if you have other relevant skills and experience).
• Finance Partner experience
• Technical finance knowledge and expertise (ideally in a Manufacturing environment - including SAP)
   

Basic knowledge/experience
 

• Strong verbal and written English language skills
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and across a matrixed environment
• Experience in a Finance Partner role.
• Strong team working skills
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple activities
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
