Description:

ACR is currently partnering with a leading Tier One Developer/Contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a major multi-phase RC frame residential development consisting of approximately 300 units. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in high-responsibility site leadership roles and is well-versed in the residential construction sector.

The appointed Site Manager will play a central role in ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be involved in the daily coordination of works, contractor management, material logistics, stakeholder communications, and site record-keeping, ensuring each aspect of the build program runs efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of a large RC Frame residential development, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with design specifications and health & safety regulations.

  • Conduct regular safety and quality inspections, adhering to internal and regulatory standards.

  • Maintain accurate site records, including health & safety reports, inductions, timesheets, and quality control logs.

  • Manage materials and ensure timely procurement, storage, and usage in line with company procedures.

  • Supervise and direct subcontractors and trades to ensure work is delivered to specification, time, and budget.

  • Collaborate with departments such as Sales and Customer Care to ensure seamless operations and rapid issue resolution.

  • Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to minimise incidents.

  • Communicate and coordinate with local authorities, utility providers, and warranty bodies to progress the project efficiently.

  • Travel between various sites in the region and occasionally to other company offices.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Solid experience within the house building industry is essential.

  • Good knowledge of NHBC, LABC, or Premier warranty standards.

  • Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.

  • Possession of a CSCS card; SMSTS certification preferred.

  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management is highly desirable.

  • A full UK driving licence is required due to multi-site responsibilities.
