Site Reliability Engineer

This firm is a dynamic global quant fund that is building cutting-edge systems from a beautiful London skyscraper. You will be creating robust systems and driving design in a fully embraced DevOps environment.

In this position, you will design, implement, and oversee the maintenance of the observability platforms. Develop and employ monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions to accomplish comprehensive system visibility, alongside taking ownership of platforms, collaborate with stakeholders, and continuously refine observability tools and processes to maximise efficiency (Full spec. is available)

Successful candidate attributes:

• Experienced with any of the following observability tools ie. VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Vector, ELK, Alert manager
• Experience with Linux
• Strong automation and scripting skills in Python.
• A STEM Degree
• A personality with a desire to use/learn new technology!
• (nice to have but not essential) Recently worked in a Hedge Fund, Investment Bank or a Financial Tech house
• (nice to have but not essential) Experience with Kubernetes, Docker etc
