Social Media Executive

The Street Soccer Foundation is a nationally acclaimed charity harnessing the power of football to help transform the lives of vulnerable and homeless young people across the country.

We’re now looking for a passionate Social Media Executive (Volunteer) to join our growing team and help promote our life-changing work across platforms including Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

If you live and breathe social media, care about youth empowerment, and believe in the power of football to change lives — then this is your calling.

What You’ll Do

• 📱 Create and schedule engaging, inspiring content for our social channels
• 🎨 Design graphics and social media visuals (in line with our brand guidelines)
• 📝 Add creative and meaningful captions to content and videos
• 📸 Liaise with football club partners to collect content from Street Soccer Academy sessions
• 🤝 Engage with corporate sponsors from The Big Goal to request content and encourage promotion of our work
• 📢 Help promote our nationwide campaigns — including The Big Goal and upcoming launch of Walk92 (www.walk92.com)
• 🎥 Work alongside our Head of Web & Design and Head of Video Production to bring great stories to life
• 🎙️ Collaborate directly with our CEO to create exclusive behind-the-scenes and founder-led content

What We’re Looking For

• A passionate storyteller who loves football and cares about social impact
• Social media savvy with a proven knack for creating engaging content
• Confident using Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, or similar)
• A proactive communicator, comfortable speaking with clubs and corporate sponsors
• Able to work remotely, but also attend our live football tournaments and events as neededs
