Social Media Executive

The Role

This is a hands-on, creative role with account management at the heart, and a strong focus on content creation, social media management and email marketing. As Sigrid Media continues to grow, this role is designed to grow with you. There will be genuine opportunities to shape the direction of your career, with exposure to additional service lines as client needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Video:

• Ideate content and strategy
• Filming short-form content on iPhone (Reels, TikToks, Stories, BTS)
• Editing short-form video (CapCut or equivalent)

Social Media Management:

• Creating and scheduling posts across Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
• Designing graphics and carousels using Canva
• Writing captions aligned with each brand’s tone of voice

Email Marketing:

• Creation and scheduling of email campaigns via Mailchimp
• Formatting newsletters and campaign emails
• Supporting performance tracking (open rates, click-through rates)

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• 1+ year experience in social media management, communications or marketing, or equivalent hands-on experience (e.g. running your own TikTok account)
• Strong interest in short-form video and mobile content
• Confidence filming on an iPhone
• Excellent written English and attention to detail
• Organised, reliable and comfortable managing multiple client accounts
