Social Media Executive responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all company social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
- Look to implement and expand to news social media platforms - TikTok and Pinterest.
- Create and maintain a monthly social media calendar.
- Ensure the brand voice is maintained across all the Ripe social media channels.
- Develop engaging, innovative, and creative social media content for regularly scheduled posts, which are managed through social tools such as Hootsuite.
- Optimise content to ensure it is targeted to the correct audiences on different platforms.
- Coordinate with the wider teams to ensure messaging and campaigns are aligned and promoted—particularly for new brand launches.
- Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within the social media space.
- Analyse social media posts and campaigns to gather visitor data, determine efficiency and understand where improvements can be made.
- Regularly monitor audience engagement and feedback provided on posts.
- Build an engaged audience via reposting, commenting, and liking user content.
- Gather data on industry and social media trends that could be used to influence future campaigns.
Social Media Executive Requirements:
- Experience running multiple social media channels.
- Expert knowledge of leading social media sites, including their algorithms.
- Previous use of social media tools such as Hootsuite.
- Strong copywriting, proofreading, editing and content creation skills.
- Enthusiastic about keeping on top of social media trends and insights.
- Knowledge of engagement metrics and creating reports.
- Video editing desired.
