Social Media Manager



s a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for the planning and execution of all organic and some paid social media campaigns, in an end to end process requiring management of multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will be constantly pushing boundaries and looking at innovations to keep us ahead creatively when it comes to changing social market trends.

You will be a key voice of the EE brand on social and will be responsible for championing social campaigns across the business to ensure creative and strategic alignment. You will also work closely with the media team to ensure our social campaigns can drive uplifts across the communications funnel.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and delivering the EE Brand social strategy
  • Overseeing the brand social content calendar by planning, co-ordinating, scheduling and executing activity across all of EE’s social channels.
  • Increasing audience reach and engagement across all social channels to meet brand and business objectives
  • Managing the brief to agencies and production partners to deliver the end to end process for all organic social content
  • Working collaboratively on a daily basis with PR, Customer Service and the EE forum community managers to integrate and co-ordinate activity
  • Daily monitoring and writing of social content to react across the social communities
  • Managing key stakeholders across the business to act as the gatekeeper and ensure that all interactions on social are tonally on brand and meet content and best practice requirements
  • Working with internal and agency stakeholders to align, consult and support on the delivery of Brand ATL and sponsorship paid social campaigns
  • Being an expert in your field and staying constantly up to date on new social trends, changes to the platforms so can deliver best practice in social
  • Building close working relationships with all of the third party social platforms
  • Responding to social queries and providing guidance as necessary
  • Measuring, analysing, reporting and making recommendations on social activity on a weekly basis
  • Managing a social budget and working closely with media to maximise effectiveness
  • Using your initiative to come up with reactive social content that you can execute
  • Having the skills and experience to create quick social content using creative software
  • Overseeing junior members of the social team and managing their time
