Social Media Manager

 

Description:

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes social and will rise to the challenge of creating content that propels fwip to social media fame. Working in tandem with the marketing and design team our social media superstar will produce stand-out content and campaigns that feel authentic and relatable to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to develop our social media strategy and initiatives with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement across our B2B and B2C channels.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Manage the implementation of the organic and paid social media strategy across our B2C channels (Instagram, TikTok & Facebook).

  • Create engaging content internally (short videos, animations, GIFs, graphics and images) to fit our existing social media pillars.

  • Work with the Marketing Manager and Head of Design in establishing a Social Media playbook to help develop our longer term strategy.

  • Work with our digital agency to create content for B2B social channels using their content briefs.

  • Work with the Head of Design on content creation with external agencies (eg photo and video shoots).

  • Attend trade shows/events and work with key customers to create content to support our marketing strategy.

  • Be on the ball in reacting to social media trends and suggesting & executing content that keeps fwip trending on a regular basis.

  • Live and breathe social, staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, digital technologies and dessert innovations.

  • Monitor and respond to customer feedback, comments and social media posts - flagging any issues to our customer success team.

  • Help with updating the website and creating landing pages.

  • Track the success of campaigns, measuring goals and showing the Return on Investment (ROI).

  • Report monthly on social media successes and emerging trends.

  • Liaise with our PR agency to help create content for use in media and work alongside our copywriter to finesse our blog content strategy.

  • Assist the Marketing Manager to develop engaging mailing campaigns that deliver clicks and conversions and ultimately raise brand awareness amongst our target audience.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • In-depth knowledge of social media channels - LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook - a keen eye for new social media trends and developing your skills.

  • Experience in working effectively with both Marketing & Design teams.

  • Passion for social media with a brilliant eye for creating compelling content, imagery and tone of voice.

  • Know-how in analysing social media opportunities and performance, and effectively tracking ROI.

  • A love of food, ice cream and treats - part of the role will be coming up with inventive ways to fwip it up.

  • Well-versed in balancing punchy copy with spot-on tone of voice and design skills.

  • Good on-the-move content creator using a smartphone or camera equipment.

  • First class social video editing skills (you will have access to Adobe Creative Suite, or whatever you need to work your magic!)

  • Experience working with a fast-paced start-up or owner-managed business would be an advantage.

  • Full, clean driving license would be an advantage (wed love for you to travel to our fwip locations)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Social media management - 1 year minimum

  • Shooting, creating and editing video content - confident

  • Video editing - 1 year (preferred)

  • Copywriting - 1 year (preferred)

  • Proficient in G-suite apps - a must have

  • Animation - a bonus

  • Knowledge of Hootsuite, Later or similar scheduling programmes - a bonus
