Description:
The Editorial and Digital (E&D) team is responsible for producing, editing and publishing all the content for the FCA and manages all the communications channels. This role sits within the wider digital team comprised of Digital Editors (Content Designers) and Graphic Designers.
What you will be doing (the role)
Take ownership of the social media calendar to make sure it is up-to-date and always aligned with wider Divisional plans for all content
Review and audit all current methodology and posting conventions for X (Twitter), LinkedIn and YouTube to establish a roadmap for updating and optimising our practices
Develop and build on existing LinkedIn & Twitter social media strategies. Communicate updates and changes to the Comms Division in a timely way
Create, draft and edit post and asset coy, working with the Digital team on our creative approach for all external publications and content
Working directly with all offices of our leadership team to boost and successfully use employee advocacy practices on LinkedIn
Support all Digital Editors with social media channel queries while working collaboratively to establish best practice and posting consistency throughout the team
Work closely with the Design team to recommend a production approach for all creative social assets based on channel requirements, best practice, and our key messages
Ongoing management of our social media requests inbox to make sure we are responding to all queries in a timely way
Working closely with Strategic Comms colleagues to plan priority content and collaborate on delivering key messages to our audiences
Assist with writing and editing social post copy for high-profile campaigns, which includes recommending our approach to help guide and manage external creative agencies to align organic with paid posts
Plan and implement targeted social media training for the Comms division, including updating new ideas and governance within the E&D team regularly
